The BNN annual meeting this year is going to be virtual on Friday 25 Septembre, and will be a special COVID edition! So much has to be shared between injectors in this time of pandemic!
The program will take place between 9.00 am and 2.00 pm.
Session 1: What COVID has changed for the injectors in their practice. 90 min
-The BNN recommendations for resuming clinics and dealing with the workload.
-The new settings in adult and paediatric services, depending on different specialties (Rehabilitation, Neurology, ENT, Ophthalmology) and conditions (dystonia, hemifacial spasm, spasticity, headache, hyperhidrosis, drooling).
-What lessons have to be learned?
Session 2: What’s COVID has changed for the patients. 90min
-Compliance with these “new toxins clinics”.
-The lockdown period.
-The long interval: what happened to their condition when “bridging”
-Mind the gap study (the Walton centre, Liverpool)
Session 3: How to assess a patient with a movement disorder and spasticity during a virtual clinic. 45 min

For session1 and 2, I would like to ask members to consider sending short abstracts (up to 200 words) before the 31st of July on the key topics listed above to info@neurotoxinnetwork.org
The BNN board members will select 3 abstracts for oral communications of 15 minutes. All the abstracts will be available to access by the members registered for the meeting, for 48 hours on the website of the meeting.It will be a way of sharing experiences with different teams and learning from our colleagues.
