Most of the Botulinum toxin services in the UK have effectively closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Restarting the toxin clinics in the future will present a number of practical problems and the BNN has written recommendations when resuming the toxin clinics. Certainly, the injection procedure and the setting of the clinic are going to change greatly in order to protect the patient and the injector.
All our members have received these recommendations through the newsletter 2 weeks ago and many commented that it was a helpful document when starting the conversation with their trust.
