The BNN virtual meeting on the 25 September gathered 100 attendees. It was our 10th meeting and the 1st meeting being virtual with a special COVID edition. BNN 2020-VIRTUAL-AGENDA

The animated panel discussions followed the presentation by Dr Miles Humberstone of the results of the survey of 64 members. It was a great opportunity to share experiences and views.

Session 1 covered how COVID has shaped our practice as toxins’ injectors.

Session 2 covered what COVID had changed for patients.

Ms Penny Ritchie Calder , trustee of the Dystonia society gave a very eloquent talk about having dystonia through the pandemic.

Session 3 focused on how to assess a patient with movement disorders and spasticity during a virtual clinic with Dr Franscsesca Morgante and Dr Timothy Harrower.

One injector in the survey comments that he was “ wary of the new normal”, summarising the feeling of most of us. We clearly need in the next few months to help each other to surf this second wave for the benefit of our patients.
